1. Acceptance, Versioning, And Consent Records
By creating an account, signing in, clicking an agreement control, linking a connected app, or completing a purchase, you agree to the Terms of Service and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. This applies when you create an account, sign in, click an agreement control, use a passkey, use a magic link, continue with a supported sign-in provider, link a connected app, access paid features, or complete a checkout flow.
DWL Accounts may store acceptance evidence internally, including user ID, Terms version, Privacy version, timestamp, request fingerprint, acceptance text, source page, checkout or app context, country or state if available, and policy hash. Prior versions may be retained for audit, compliance, security, fraud prevention, billing, and dispute handling.
Non-binding summaries, headings, UI labels, help text, and navigation aids are provided for convenience only. If a summary conflicts with the full legal language, the full legal language controls.
2. Defined Terms
- DWL Accounts, Portal, or Service means the account portal at accounts.dylanwlim.com and related account, profile, authentication, recovery, passkey, session, security, purchase, billing-linkage, and connected-app features.
- Connected apps means DWL projects or supported products that use DWL Accounts for identity, app membership, sign-in handoff, entitlements, access control, purchases, subscription status, or account linking.
- Paid Services means paid features, subscriptions, credits, add-ons, digital goods, memberships, account upgrades, or other paid access offered by DWL Accounts or a connected app.
- User Content means content, data, files, messages, feedback, submissions, prompts, uploads, imports, or outputs you provide to DWL Accounts or a connected app.
- User, you, and your mean anyone who creates, signs in to, purchases through, links to, or uses DWL Accounts.
- We, us, our, and operator mean Alpinix LLC, operating DWL Accounts and purchase-enabled DWL or Alpinix product workflows.
3. Service Scope, Connected Apps, And Supplemental Terms
DWL Accounts handles central identity, authentication, profile data, sessions, account security, passkeys, recovery, app membership, app linkage, entitlement checks, purchase records where enabled, and related support workflows. A DWL Account does not guarantee access to every connected app or every feature.
Connected apps may have separate eligibility rules, product-specific terms, privacy notices, paid plans, acceptable-use rules, medical, financial, educational, or other product disclaimers, and retention requirements. Product-specific terms control only for that product or transaction where they expressly conflict with these Terms. These Terms continue to control DWL Accounts, central identity, account security, acceptance records, and account-level enforcement.
DWL Accounts may store identifiers, roles, permissions, entitlements, subscription status, linkage status, redirect URLs, audit events, and account metadata. Connected apps remain responsible for their own product data, local authorization decisions, product claims, regulated workflows, and user-facing disclosures.
4. Eligibility, Minors, And Children
You must be at least 13 years old to use DWL Accounts. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you may use the Portal only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
DWL Accounts is not directed to children under 13 and must not be used by children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child under 13 created an account may contact privacy
Paid Services are not available to minors unless the purchase is made or authorized by a parent, guardian, or other person legally permitted to bind the payment method holder. We may cancel purchases or accounts where age, authority, payment authorization, or identity cannot be verified.
5. Account Security, Passkeys, And Recovery
You are responsible for protecting your password, email account, devices, browser sessions, recovery methods, passkeys, security keys, payment methods, and connected-app access. If you share a device or lose control of a device, passkey, email inbox, recovery channel, or payment method, another person may be able to access your account or make changes.
You must provide accurate account information, keep contact and payment information current, and promptly report suspected account compromise, unauthorized purchases, payment-method misuse, or security incidents to security
You may rename or delete passkeys from the account dashboard where the feature is available. Deleting a passkey or account record does not revoke access that a connected app independently controls unless that app honors the unlinking or deletion request.
6. Acceptable Use
You must use DWL Accounts, paid features, and connected-app access lawfully and in accordance with the Acceptable Use Policy. You may not engage in credential stuffing, scraping, automated abuse, rate-limit bypassing, card testing, payment fraud, chargeback abuse, token theft, spam, impersonation, malware distribution, reverse engineering, unauthorized vulnerability testing, illegal content handling, IP infringement, privacy violations, harassment, sanctions violations, or attempts to access accounts, apps, data, purchases, payment records, or systems without permission.
7. Paid Services, Purchases, Subscriptions, Trials, And Billing
DWL Accounts and connected apps may offer Paid Services now or in the future. By starting a purchase, subscription, trial, renewal, or upgrade, you authorize us and our payment processors to charge the payment method you provide for the stated price, recurring charges, taxes, fees, and any other amounts disclosed at checkout. Checkout, invoice, product, or connected-app terms may supplement these Terms.
Prices, plan limits, features, taxes, billing intervals, renewal dates, cancellation rules, trial terms, and refund rules will be disclosed before purchase where required. Unless a checkout flow states otherwise, digital purchases and subscription fees are billed in U.S. dollars, access begins when payment succeeds, and subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Trials may convert to paid subscriptions only according to the terms disclosed when the trial starts.
You must cancel subscriptions through the account billing controls, connected-app controls, app-store controls, payment-provider controls, or support channel specified for that purchase. Where online cancellation is available or legally required, we will not require a more burdensome cancellation path than the sign-up path. Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless the checkout terms or applicable law require a different result.
We may change prices, plan features, usage limits, billing intervals, or taxes prospectively. For material paid-plan changes, we will provide notice where required and may ask for renewed consent where legally required. If you do not accept a material paid-plan change, your remedy is to cancel before the change applies.
Failed payments, disputed charges, suspected fraud, chargebacks, payment-processor holds, sanctions screening, excessive support abuse, or violation of these Terms may result in suspension, downgrade, loss of paid access, collection activity, or termination. Contact support
8. Refunds, Taxes, Payment Processors, And Records
Except where a checkout page, connected-app policy, written offer, or applicable law states otherwise, fees are non-refundable and credits have no cash value. We may issue refunds, credits, or goodwill adjustments in our discretion without creating a future obligation. If we terminate Paid Services for your breach, abuse, fraud, payment misuse, or legal risk, you are not entitled to a refund except where law requires one.
You are responsible for taxes, duties, levies, exchange fees, bank fees, and similar charges associated with your purchase unless we are legally required to collect them. We may collect tax information, billing address, exemption certificates, and transaction records needed for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, invoices, refunds, disputes, and compliance.
Tax setup for Paid Services is handled by Alpinix LLC and any configured payment or tax provider. Checkout should disclose applicable sales tax, VAT, GST, or similar transaction taxes where collection is required.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors. Payment processors may provide their own terms and privacy notices and may decline, hold, reverse, or review transactions under their rules. DWL Accounts should not receive or store full card numbers or full bank credentials; payment processors generally provide limited payment metadata such as processor customer IDs, subscription IDs, invoice IDs, payment status, card brand, last four digits, expiration month/year, billing country or postal code, dispute status, and refund status.
9. User Content, Feedback, And Intellectual Property
If DWL Accounts or a connected app lets you upload, submit, import, display, transmit, store, purchase, or generate User Content, you retain ownership of your User Content as between you and us. You grant DWL Accounts and the relevant connected app a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, process, transmit, secure, cache, display, reproduce, modify for formatting or technical purposes, create backups, and retain User Content solely as needed to provide, support, protect, enforce, audit, and improve the Service you requested.
You represent that you have all rights, permissions, notices, consents, and legal bases needed for any User Content you submit and for our processing of that content. You must not submit content that violates law, privacy, publicity, contract, confidentiality, IP, platform, payment, or connected-app rules.
DWL Accounts, including its software, workflows, designs, names, logos, trademarks, documentation, policies, security controls, and brand assets, belongs to the operator or licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. Feedback, suggestions, bug reports, and ideas may be used without restriction, compensation, attribution, or obligation.
10. Copyright, DMCA, And IP Complaints
Copyright and IP complaints may be sent to legal
We may remove or restrict content, disable access, notify the affected user, request more information, forward notices and counter-notices, and terminate repeat infringers where appropriate. False or abusive notices may create liability and may result in account restrictions.
11. Healthcare, Emergency, And Regulated-Use Boundaries
DWL Accounts is an identity and account portal. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency support, medication guidance, pharmacy services, prescribing, insurance advice, medication-availability assurance, or a substitute for a licensed professional. Do not use DWL Accounts for emergencies. Contact emergency services or a licensed professional for urgent medical issues.
Connected apps with healthcare-adjacent features, pharmacy-related workflows, financial features, educational features, regulated goods, or other regulated uses must provide product-specific terms, privacy notices, eligibility rules, compliance workflows, and professional review before relying on those workflows. DWL Accounts does not claim HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, GLBA, FERPA, or other regulated compliance unless a separately reviewed product, agreement, and implementation expressly state so.
12. Communications, Notices, And Marketing
Account, security, verification, password reset, passkey, sign-in, billing, tax, receipt, renewal, cancellation, dispute, legal, and support messages are transactional service messages and may be sent while your account, purchase, or support request remains active. Optional product updates, announcements, newsletters, or marketing messages require the available preference or unsubscribe controls where required. Marketing opt-outs do not stop security, legal, billing, account-required, or transactional messages.
13. Third Parties, Beta Features, Support, And Availability
DWL Accounts depends on providers for hosting, database, email, authentication, DNS, security infrastructure, payment processing, tax calculation, analytics where implemented, storage, and connected-app delivery. Third-party services are not controlled by DWL Accounts and may have their own terms, privacy policies, outages, rate limits, fees, eligibility rules, security events, or account restrictions.
Beta, preview, experimental, free, trial, or waitlist features may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Support is available through the channels listed on the Contact page, but no response time, restoration time, feature availability, or data recovery is guaranteed unless separately stated in a signed agreement. Keep independent copies of important content where export is available.
14. Suspension, Termination, Deletion, And Preservation
We may suspend, restrict, rate limit, downgrade, unlink, terminate, delete, preserve, or refuse access for abuse, fraud, payment failure, chargebacks, security threats, legal requests, sanctions risk, connected-app rule violations, risk to users or providers, or violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Portal and request deletion. Deletion may be completed by deleting, de-identifying, unlinking, or retaining limited records where needed for security, fraud prevention, payment processing, taxes, legal obligations, disputes, audit logs, backups, enforcement, or connected-app retention requirements.
15. Warranties, Liability Limits, And Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DWL Accounts, connected-app access through the Portal, beta features, free features, support, and Paid Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant uninterrupted access, error-free operation, accuracy, compatibility, security perfection, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability of third-party services, connected-app outputs, data retention, purchase availability, payment-processor availability, or that defects will be corrected.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DWL Accounts and the operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, enhanced, or lost-profit damages; lost revenue; lost goodwill; lost data; business interruption; substitute services; unauthorized access; third-party services; payment-processor actions; or connected-app actions. Total liability for all claims will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the affected Paid Service in the 12 months before the claim or US $100. This limit applies to all theories of liability and does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the operator from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your misuse, User Content, purchases, chargebacks caused by your breach, IP violations, legal violations, payment misuse, account abuse, connected-app misuse, or breach of these Terms.
16. Disputes, Arbitration, Class Waiver, And Jury Waiver
Before filing a claim, you and DWL Accounts agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by sending a written notice to legal
To the fullest extent permitted by law, disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by AAA under its applicable consumer or commercial rules, or by JAMS if AAA is unavailable, unless the claim may be brought in small claims court. Arbitration will occur in Orange County, Florida, by video, by phone, or on written submissions where permitted. The arbitrator may award relief only individually and only to the extent a court could.
You and DWL Accounts waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in class, collective, consolidated, private-attorney-general, or representative proceedings to the maximum extent permitted by law. If this class waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim must proceed in court and not in arbitration. Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court for IP misuse, security abuse, unauthorized access, confidentiality breaches, or payment fraud.
You may opt out of this arbitration section by sending a clear written opt-out notice to legal
17. Governing Law, Venue, Export, And Miscellaneous
These Terms are governed by Florida law, excluding conflict-of-law rules, while preserving mandatory local consumer rights. Legal actions not subject to arbitration may be brought in state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, unless mandatory law requires another forum. You consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there to the extent permitted by law.
Legal notices to DWL Accounts should be sent to legal
You may not use DWL Accounts where prohibited by sanctions, export-control laws, embargoes, or legal restrictions. You may not transfer access, credentials, tokens, products, outputs, or technical data to prohibited persons, territories, or uses. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside reasonable control, including provider outages, attacks, disasters, legal restrictions, labor events, payment network failures, or infrastructure failures.
If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect and the unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable where possible. You may not assign these Terms without consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, sale of assets, or transfer of the Service. Sections relating to IP, licenses, payments, taxes, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, disputes, notices, records, enforcement, and rights that by nature should survive will survive termination.
18. Changes And Re-Consent
We may update these Terms for changes in the Portal, connected apps, Paid Services, billing workflows, security practices, providers, law, or operations. Material changes may receive email, in-app, checkout, or Portal notice and may require renewed acceptance. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using DWL Accounts, cancel Paid Services if applicable, and request deletion if desired.
19. Contact
Terms, legal notice, copyright, payment, account deletion, and support questions can be routed through the contacts on the Contact page.
